Coronavirus COVID-19 Readiness
Like you, we're monitoring the latest news about the coronavirus.
As always, your vacation and safety are what matter to us.
We have the following Policy in place for Reservations:
Reservations that may be modified without charges:
1. Any reservations in place that have guests who have a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19. or who may have been exposed.
2. Reservations with guests who are traveling from or through areas severely impacted by COVID-19. The WHO website (www.who.int) and the CDC website (www.cdc.gov) both have lists and other helpful information.
3. Any reservation that is impacted by official travel restrictions or have travel cancelled due to COVID-19.
We may require proof of reason for your modification.
Modifications that may be made:
Reservations that need to be cancelled due to COVID-19 will receive a future stay credit in the amount of their original reservation total. That credit can be used towards a future reservation in the same house for any available dates before April 30th of 2021. If the new reservation total exceeds the credit amount, the guest will be responsible for paying the difference.
All reservation modifications are at the discretion of Whales Watch Vacation Rentals and will be considered on a case by case basis.
Cleaning Standards: Our homes are cleaned and sanitized after each departure. Our cleaners are using approved disinfecting cleaners. In addition to the rigorous cleaning our houses normally undergo, our cleaners are paying additional attention to detail including, but not limited to light switches, lamps, cupboard handles, doorknobs, banisters, remotes, and thermostats.
Since bleach is the most effective method of eradicating COVID-19 we're providing each house with a spray bottle of bleach & water mixed to CDC recommendations – for use during your stay. In addition to all the other normal cleaning products we provide.
Whales Watch Vacation Rentals has created this Privacy Policy in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information. As part of the normal operation of services, we collect and, in some instances, disclose information about you. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
1. Information Whales Watch Vacation Rentals Collects
Our site's registration form requires users to give us contact information
(like your name and email address), unique identifiers (like your password),
and demographic information (like your zip code). Certain information,
such as passwords and e-mail addresses, is collected in order to, among
other things, verify your identity and for use as account numbers in our
record system.
2. Our Use of Your Information
If you give us your permission, we use customer contact information from
the registration form to send you information about Whales Watch Vacation Rentals . You
have total control of whether and what Member communications you receive
and from whom. Your contact information is also used to contact you when
necessary. We use demographic and profile data to tailor your experience
on our service, showing you content that we think you might be interested
in, and displaying the content according to your preferences.
3. Our Disclosure of Your Information
We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided
to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described in this Privacy Policy
and Member Agreement without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out
or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
Whales Watch Vacation Rentals will never willfully sell or rent for consideration any personally
identifiable information about you or your business to any third party
without first receiving your permission.
Whales Watch Vacation Rentals cannot ensure that all of your personally
identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not described
in this Privacy Policy. For example, we may be required to disclose personally
identifiable information to the government or by court order under certain
circumstances, or other situations may arise requiring such disclosure.
In addition, you authorize us to disclose any information about you to
law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion,
believe necessary or appropriate.
